Scott's Cluster System for Streets Betting in Roulette

Hello everyone,

I came across an interesting system the other day, while navigating through some gambling discussion forums and I'd like to share it with you, as well as my thoughts on how to make it win more.

The system is written by Scott and he calls it the cluster system.  He has made his specifications and test results available in a spreadsheet that you can find at: http://members.dcsi.net.au/luxurycoatings/clustersystem.xls.

The system bets on streets in Roulette.  A street is the 3 number area across a line, such as 1,2,3 or 7,8,9, etc.  There are 12 streets and they pay 12 for 1 (or 11 to 1).  For convenience, let's number each street, calling them Street no. 1 for numbers 1,2,3; Street no. 2 for numbers, 4,5,6, etc. up to Street no. 12 for numbers 34, 35, 36.  0, 00 do not belong to any street and will make your bet lose.

The system's idea is based on the fact that streets will either sleep for a long time or will show up more frequently like clusters.  So, Scott takes advantage of this feature and bets 1 unit on any street.  If the street shows up within 12 spins, one makes a profit.  If not, Scott continues to bet 1 unit on the street and the moment it wins, raises the bet to 2 chips on that street.  Should it win within less than 12 spins, the run will make a profit.  If you did not make a profit for that run, when that street shows up, you raise your bet to 3 chips and continue betting on that same street until you make a profit. 

A loss limit needs to be set in case the street sleeps for a long time even if it shows up once or twice.  Also Scott recommends a bet not to exceed 5 chips on a particular street.

As you can see, the profit is calculated relative to the beginning of the run.  If you start the run at 9 units, such as in hand 3, the run is over at >9, at 14 units, where the new run starts and ends at 29 units. 

There is a run there, which starts at 111 units.  Every time the street no.1, which is being bet on, hits, there is no profit yet until the bet amount is gradually increased from 1 all the way to 5 chips, where finally a profit is achieved with the 116 unit result, which is greater than the starting 111 units for the run.

It looks like a pretty good system, but doesn't hint you on which street to select.   In my Roulette Trend Analyzer (RTA), I verified the tendency of the appearance of streets.  It is not very unlikely for a particular street not to show up for 34-65 spins, a true sleeper.  Now what if the street you were betting on would sleep for that long?

Observing the streets, I have also noticed, that a street that has slept for so long, has a tendency to show up in clusters, that is more often within 12 spins, as Scott specifies, right after it wakes up.

So, I designed a street tracking template for you, that you can download from: http://www.letstalkwinning.com/Streets.xls. It's a spreadsheet, which shows you the Roulette number, in its own colour, the street number of that number, and the distribution of streets per spin for 1000 spins, with a built-in counter.  The counter counts the number of times a street does not show up.  When it finally shows up, it's designated with an "X".   This way, you can tell, for how many spins a street doesn't show up until it hits for every single street.

Now, as per the cluster theory:

Take a look at street no. 1, for instance.   It doesn't show up for 25 spins.  Then it shows up the 4th, 2nd, 3rd and 5th time, which are all within 11 spins.

Street no. 2 doesn't show up for 23 spins at a certain stage. Then it shows up 2nd, 12th, 2nd and 4th time, each giving you decent profit with Scott's system.

So what you can do, is to use the above template to track all streets at the same time.  The moment a street shows up only after a long sleep, it's time to bet on it with Scott's progression, until it shows a profit.  You could even bet on 2-3 streets at the same time and profit from each.
