Differential Betting that Makes a Difference
Dear Let's Talk Winning subscribers, customers,
friends,
Here is a neat little free system for you, which has a 2 unit
bet as its maximum, very handy, playable and profitable. This
system works for both choppy and streaky tables for all even bets.
First, let's remind us on the concept of differential
betting. Differential betting on even bets places the difference of
the bets on two opposing sides. If, for instance, if you need to place
a bet of 4 units on Red in Roulette and 6 units on Black, this is equivalent
of placing 6-4 = 2 units on Black, the side that has the higher bet amount.
The outcome is the same.
This has a major advantage of being able to bet on both sides, if the system
requires it and you end up risking only 2 units instead of 10, should a zero
come and wipe out your bet.
Our little system consists of betting 1 unit on a certain
side, say Red. If the bet loses, you raise it to 2 units. So if
your second bet wins, you win 1 unit and you reset. If you lose your
second bet, you are down 3 units and you wait for a paper win before you bet
again.
After each win, you bet 1 unit. After one single
loss, you bet 2 units. After two losses, you bet nothing until you win
again. Easy enough?
You do exactly the same thing on the other side, for
Black.
So, if you get a choppy sequence such as R B R B R B R B,
the Red side will win 1 unit every other decision, so will the Black side.
If we were to apply differential betting on this
sequence, we would start by betting 1 unit on each side, which is a wash, so
no bets are placed. One side would win, one side would lose. The
losing side will have its bet raised to 2 units. The winning side will
have a 1 unit bet. According to db (differential betting), we would
end up placing 2-1=1 unit on the side that just lost.
Now, the losing side wins, we end up profiting 1 unit.
We place 2 units on the losing side and 1 unit on the winning side.
With db this becomes 1 unit on the previously losing side, that now wins.
We profit 1 more unit and so on.
If the choppy sequence turns into a streaky sequence such
as: R B R B R B R R R R R, the streak on the R's will result
betting one unit on each R, since after two losing Blacks, we place no bets
according to our system, so after two decisions, the R side starts making 1
unit profits so long as the streak on R continues.
The same happens if the streak takes on a Black: R
B R B R B B B B B B. This time the losing R side will be silent and
the B side will cash 1 unit profits until the streak ends.
At times, we end up placing 1 unit on each side, which
causes the placing of no bets according to the traditional differential
betting.
We will now modify this in our little method, by changing
the start of the system. And that will make quite a difference.
Instead of placing 1 unit on Red and 1 unit on Black, we will place 2 units
on either Red or Black and 1 unit on the other side. With db, this
will make us place 1 unit on either side from the very beginning. The
rest stays the same. If the 1 unit on Red loses, we will raise it to 2
units. If the 1 unit on Black loses, we will raise it to 2 units, etc,
so the R B R B R B sequences will generate 1 unit profit on each bet
instead.

The table starts pretty choppy.
As you can see in the example above, we place 1 unit on Red and 2 units on
Black, which ends up being one unit on Black with our modified differential
betting. Black winning at the very first spin gives us our very first
1 unit profit already.
Since Black wins, it takes 1 unit
bet on it next spin. Since Red loses, it takes 2 units on it next spin
(2). With db, this becomes 1 unit on Red. Red wins on spin 2,
that gives another unit profit.
As long as the chop continues, so do
our profits, 1 unit per spin.
At spins 60 through 110, we see the
choppy trend turn into a streaky trend.
After two losing Reds at spins 86
and 87, we end up placing no bets on it, according to our system and the
Black side takes over the winning by having 1 unit placed on it after each
win and cashes 1 unit up until spin 93.
Similarly, through spins 101 to 109,
the Red side takes over.
The rightmost column gives you the
total net amount cashed according to our actual bets on Red and Black after
applying the modified differential betting.
You will find another column in the
middle called Overall Net. This one shows the net amount cashed on
both sides, if differential betting was not applied. The rightmost net
amount ends up cashing more, because of what happens when zeros show up.
Take the 0 at spin 25, for instance.
Without db, we were supposed to place 2 units on Red and 1 unit on Black.
So the 0 would deduct 3 units from your net. But with db, we ended up
placing 1 unit on Red only instead. Thus the 0 reduced our overall
bankroll by only 1 unit instead of 3 and we profited 2 units more as a
result. At the end of 144 spins, we are ahead by 32 units instead of
21.
